Photographed by Sheldon Bachus, this exhibition is based on a larger collection of landscape photographs of the lakes, streams and geological terrane of the upper Lagunitas Creek watershed. Born in Marin County CA, Sheldon has spent a lifetime photographing California's natural landscapes, and especially the well preserved watershed lands of the Marin Municipal Water District (MMWD) through which Lagunitas Creek flows. The images in this exhibition are all 11 x 17 inch archival prints, matted and mounted in 17 x 21 inch frames. Consistent with documentary photographic gallery convention, each framed photograph is accompanied by a brief interpretative panel, the text of which is extracted from the narrative below.
